Dethran entered the courtyard, still listening to Black Friday Rule, and sat on one of the benches in the shade.

Rincha walked into the courtyard from the girls' dorm, looking incredibly disappointed because of something. Of course, the body had to be returned to the freezer...and preserved again. How annoying. And all for nothing...well, not entirely for nothing. There had been some amusement in the situation. Sitting glumly on the side of the elegant fountain, Rincha stared at her reflection in the rippling water caused by the constant flow of water from the fountain that never stopped, not even in the cold, snowy days of winter.

Dethran walked over towards the fountain. "Hello," he said to Rincha, pausing his music and pulling out the ear buds.

Rincha looked up at Dethran quickly, as though startled by seeing him here so suddenly. Her voice, however, was calm and pleasant, "Good day. Have you visited your dorm yet? I hear that the boys' dorms are quite comfortable. Are you fortunate enough to have a dorm mate?" she paused, smiling a gentle, slightly embarrassed smile "How rude of me. Asking so many questions without even introducing myself. I'm Rincha. And you are?"

"I'm Dethran," replied Dethran. "Yes, I have visited my dorm, and I do have a roommate. How about you?"
A random delivery man with a large, ventilated box walked in to the courtyard. "I've got a delivery for a 'Dethran Vernichten'. "That's me," said Dethran. "Here's your package," said the delivery man, leaving. Dethran opened the box and let the 8 snakes slither out onto him, looking quite happy.

Rincha didn't seem interested in the package, merely staring after the delivery man for a while, then seeming satisfied with something and turning her gaze to the box, and then the snakes slithering out of the box. Her icy blue eyes seemed aglow as she watched the snakes with fascination. Slowly, her finger reached towards the snakes, as though to touch them

"Do you want to hold one?" Dethran asked, reading Rincha's brain signals to see what she was thinking about the snakes, like if she could tell that there was something different about them. He also made sure that the snakes didn't do anything that a normal snake couldn't do.
OOC: I forgot to mention that the snakes look like cobras, in case anyone reading this didn't read their bio yet.

Something flashed in Rincha's eyes, but it was gone too quickly for anyone to identify it. It was a quick kaleidoscope of emotions--fascination, fear, caution, anger, gratitude, and then no emotion at all. She smiled at Dethran and asked, "Could I?"

"Her name is Zeit," Dethran replied, holding out a snake with deep black patterning on its back.
OOC: what is/was Rincha thinking about the snakes? (Dethran is and was reading to see if she somehow knew anything about them)

OOC: She knows nothing about them, but it reminded her of other snakes...however, her mind moved much too quickly for anything to be in too much detail. It was brief even for her, and she is the one thinking of it.
Rincha smiled at the snake as she grasped it in her hands, her fingers gentle at first, but then her eyes turned a deep midnight blue color and an aura of danger surrounded her as her fingers slowly applied pressure to where Rincha had grasped Zeit. No thoughts went through her mind, or, at least, not human thoughts. It was all instinct at this moment, which Rincha always separated from thought, eliminating thought completely and letting instinct take over. Of course, this was always dangerous for someone...not that Rincha minded in the least.

Dethran noticed the change in feel to Rincha's mind, and readied Zeit for evasive action, if necessary.

"Ah!" Richa cried out, her grip on the snake loosening. She seemed shocked, like something had bit her, but, of course, nothing had bitten her.

Dethran continued to watch what Rincha was think, to make sure she didn't know any more than she should about him or his snakes.

Those silly, stupid snakes. Wouldn't even do anything interesting. How disappointing. Of course, she had gotten a bit carried away, but shouldn't the snakes have reacted in some kind of way? Gosh, this school wasn't any fun at all...first the headmistress stops her from killing a student with the corpse of another student, and now this... Rincha sighed, seeming upset now.

Zeit slithered up Rincha's arm and rested around her neck, while Dethran continued to watch and play with the other snakes.

Rincha still seemed a bit sullen, but lightened up a bit at the snake's touch, like it was a soft caress on her skin. Her skin trembled slightly as she shut her eyes, her expression slowly melting from sulky frustration into one of perfect bliss.

Zeit continued to slither around Rincha's neck, looking much like a living necklace, while Dethran looked into Rincha's mind to see why snakes seemed to be therapeutic for her.

There was no answer in Rincha's mind, however. It seemed to merely come to her, of its own free will. A thought did slip through, however, 'The answers aren't always in the mind...are they?'

I guess not, said Dethran, as Blitz settled around his head like a crown.

Something began to ring from inside of Rincha's pocket, but she ignored it, seeming entirely too focused on the feel of the snake skin against her human skin.

Zeit slithered down and grabbed the ringing object from Rincha's pocket, then slithered up and put it in her hand.

Run glanced at the sleek black cell phone now sitting in her hand, pondering whether or not to answer it, now that the snake had gotten it out for her...for what reason, Run didn't know nor care about. The caller ID said DEATH 2 and had a picture of the full moon flashing as it continued to ring. Sighing heavily, she opened it and put it to her ear. "Hello?" she answered in a bored, detached voice "Are you too busy to meet me now?" a strange-sounding voice asked on the other end. It would have been a beautiful voice...if it hadn't sounded completely heartless and uncaring. The girl's voice sounded like something rough had been attacking her vocal chords for much too long than is good for her. "Yes." Rincha answered in the same tone, sighing "Now please tell me you aren't calling from a pay phone" "Of course I am" the girl on the other end answered, sounding like she was smiling Then the other line went dead, and Rincha closed the phone, staring at it for a moment as though pondering whether or not to join whoever had called or to stay here

Dethran started walking away, saying "It seems like you should be going somewhere, so I'll see you later. Just let Zeit loose when you're done with her, she'll find me."

A while after Dethran left, Zeit slithered off in the direction of the boys' dorms.
