Dida Harvven walked through the streets of the town, watching each and every male that passed by, no matter how old they were. A look of disinterested boredom was on her slightly tanned but still pale face. None of the guys she had seen so far were in the least bit handsome, or good looking, or anything special. None of them. When she came to this school, this "wondrous academy for gifted students," she had expected more good-looking guys in the school, and so far, she had found none. So much for a gifted school. Now she was wandering the town, hoping that she would at least find one good-looking guy to fill her need for beauty. Of course, perhaps when school actually began, there would be more students and a more extensive search for the best-looking boys, but until then, Dida would keep searching. Today was a mild day, with some tufts of white in the sky that were supposed to be clouds, and a nice breeze. Dida is dressed in a white button-down shirt that is short-sleeved, a deep red skirt that goes down to about mid-thigh of her slender legs, and white high-heeled sandals without a bit of dirt or sweat on them. Her long blonde hair was pulled back into a braid, then piled on top of her head with bobby pins, not a hair out of place. She is wearing diamond earrings that glitter in the sunlight, but one could question their authenticity. Dida wants her eye candy.

ooc- hah, this is perfect! ... girls think moodyness is sexy, right?
Craig slouched up the street, having gone to town to escape his insane roommate. He exituted the image of nonchalance perfectly, touches of his own style flaring up. His dark hair was tousled slightly, his usual leather jacket covered a skin-thight royal blue sleeveless top. He wore fadded black jeans which were scruched around clunky boots. He walked down the street without looking at anything, for all the world looking like he didn't want to be there.

OOC: No, they don't think of it as "moodiness" they think of it as "mysterious" Dida's eyes flashed across the street, locking on Craig. Target acquired. Crossing the street as though she wanted to view the stores over there, she briefly glanced at the display in the window before moving on, towards Craig. Unfortunately, her the heel of her shoe gets stuck in a hole of the sidewalk, and she falls down, barely managing to catch herself before hitting the hard cement of the sidewalk. Rats. This ruined everything--her planned great approach, getting to be in close proximity with this nice-looking boy, and hopefully getting herself a date with him. Now she just looked like an extreme klutz. And boys don't like girls who are klutzy, unless it goes in such a way that they view the girl as helpless and needing saving, or the "damsel in distress"

ooc- Ah, Got it! ;D
Craig's eyes flicked down towards Dida, but passed on as he noticed nothing bu a klutzy girl. He sidestepped her, and moved on. He was already bored with the town, but didn't want to go back to the school because he might run into Jid. Or Rincha. Neither of which would be good for his quickly-deteriorating standing with the headmistress.

Rincha stepped out of the store just then, as though summoned by Craig's thoughts...but that hadn't been the reason at all, of course, since she can't read his mind. She had been shopping, and had seen Dida fall. Rincha had assumed that Craig, being so much closer to the fallen girl than Rincha was, would help her up. But he didn't. How heartless was he? But then, of course, Dida had already predicted for such a thing to happen. Rincha had just been hoping for nicer results. One thing didn't add up, though...for someone who shops so much and had spent much of the day shopping, Rincha had only a black leather backpack that appeared much too small to carry anything that Rincha might buy... Rincha bent down, grabbing Dida's hand and pulling her to her feet with a smile. "You're Dida, correct? I'm Rincha, and I attend the same school as you." Of course, Rincha would never say the actual name of their school in public. That would be a huge mistake, and the headmistress wouldn't like that at all.
Dida dusted off her skirt, glancing down to examine the damage...which, fortunately, was only a bit of dirt. She sighed in relief, and looked up in time to see Rincha finish off her last sentence. Her mind reexamined what had gone on...oh, so this girl was Rincha, and attended her school...so of course this girl would know her name and face. Gifted with hacking technology, this girl. Despite everything that had happened today, Dida had finally found someone beautiful. This girl. She would make a perfect friend. Her waist-length silky blonde hair seemed to shine in the summer sunlight, and her skin had a healthy tan that seemed to glow as well in this light. Her fashion sense was, fortunately, not lacking in any way. She was dressed in faded flare jeans and a leather tube top, with black leather stiletto boots on her feet. And, even in this summer heat, didn't sweat a bit, and even smelled wonderful. Then Dida noticed that Rincha's eyes were glaring in a certain direction...at the good-looking boy from before. The chance she had ruined with the stupid unlevel cement sidewalk. Worthless town, can't even level their sidewalks.
Rincha glared at the Craig, then noticed the irritated expression on Dida's face. The implied reason was wrong, of course, but she was going to go along with it. She turned back to Dida, a plotting look on her face "We should make him regret being so heartless." For now, she wouldn't point out that Craig went to their school, and despised Rincha and his roommate, but it was a good tool to use at a later time.

Craig heard the familiar voice behind him. He spun on his heels, eys flashing to Rincha. He hadn't work his gloves today, thinking that the town would offer a level enoguh emotional state that he wouldn't need them. An orangy red glow was faintly visible, to those who were paying enough attention. "What are you doing here?" he said to Rincha, barely restraining himself from spitting the words out.

Dida, being ever-observant in everything, noticed the abnormal glow coming from the sleeves of the good-looking bad-attitude boy. So there was something abnormal about him...and he seemed to know Rincha, seeing that he knew it was her without turning around, just by the sound of her voice...or at least he knew her in person, if perhaps not by name. Although, one has to know a person well enough to dislike them as much as the boy did...as he showed by the obvious outrage at just seeing Rincha here. This boy probably went to Kaerush Academy as well...for that was the only logical explanation for him knowing this beautiful girl, Rincha, who went to the school and probably didn't waste her time with random normal people on the streets...right?
Rincha looked shocked when she saw Craig's face, as though she hadn't realized that she knew him until seeing his face here and now. "Oh, Craig, fancy meeting you here! I was just innocently shopping, and witnessed a display of how heartless you are..." She smiled a genuine smile. "I didn't realize you would be so happy to see me, though." She was obvious pleased to see Craig so upset to see her...

"Does that imply that you have a heart?" Craig asked, his voice a little more controlled, but his tattoos still glowing. His strange intuition told him that the girl next to Run also went to school, and that her name was Dida. Like that really helped him. He noticed that she was looking iat his hands, and self-conciously tuged his jacket arms further down his wrists.

Yes, something was abnormal about him. When he noticed that Dida was staring at the odd glowing, he hid the source further beneath the sleeves of his jacket. But her attention was drawn to Rincha at her reaction to Craig's words.
Rincha's face turned dark, and a horrible aura seemed to emanate from her as she smiled joylessly, her eyes turning an endless black color, "You know, that's a funny question, Craig. And it has quite a peculiar answer. But you wouldn't want to hear such an answer, would you?"
Rincha scared Dida at that moment. She made a mental note to never ask such a question of Rincha, not unless she wanted to experience such fear again, to see such a terrifying face that looked like Rincha was ready to murder someone at any moment, even in a place filled with witnesses...probably wouldn't hesitate to kill the witnesses, either, with that look on her face...

"That depends on what would happen afterwards." Craig answered, glad that Dida had stopped staring at his tattoos. He was trying his best to keep a level head and not loose it again infront of Rincha, and he was't doing to bad, either. But his tattoos fadded through purple to a bluish green. That look again, the murderess. Dread slid through him as he realized that no matter how much he tried, whenever he met Rinsha, there ould unevitably be a fight. And he would unevitably have the lower hand. He was really going to need to learn some more fighting moves. And speed. Definatly speed.
ooc- Heh, I think that Craig is going to try to name all of Rincha's moods now. This is the one he encounters most often- the murderess.

"You are fairly smart, aren't you?" Rincha said, her face turning amused with Craig's words, and Dida sighed in relief. Good, that expression was gone now. She hoped to never see that expression on Rincha's face ever again. It ruin everything...
Rincha's expression froze for a moment, her eyes turning an icy blue color. It was as though something had shocked her to the point that she had no reaction to it. Coincidentially, she was looking at Craig from her previous comment when this happened, and she had a frozen amused look on her face, although the expression looked all wrong now.

Criag shugged, and looked closer at Dida. "Got yourself a new pet?" he asked, nodding to her as if she wasn't there. And she might as well not be, since she hadn't said anything yet. His eyes flicked back to Run. The murderess was gone, replaced by... the watcher. Yes, that was it. She gave a little push and things spiraled out of control and then she just sat back and watched. She was only interested in being amused and once something stopped amusing her, she moved on.

Rincha seemed incredibly subdued now, taking a step back and pursing her lips, like something else much more important had grasped her attention and she no longer felt any compulsion to say anything more.
Dida glared at Craig. "You're pretty on the outside, but oh so ugly on the inside," she said, her voice like poison, mostly because he had ruined her little hobby today. Handsome men weren't supposed to have such rotten, heartless attitudes. They were supposed to at least be nice, if not somewhat like knights in fairy tales. Or, if she was lucky, perfect gentlemen. And most of the time, she wasn't lucky, and her disappointment was usually taken out on these "failures."

Craig shugged again. "Ok, then." he siad a voice that clearly stated that he didn't think that anything Dida said was in the least bit important. For the most part, he kept his attention on Run, who was still watching, but the vacant look on her face didn't make it clear what she was watching. He sighed, thinking that she didn't have anything else to say, turned and started walking away. His tatoos faded in color, and slid back to a purple shade. The glow was now almost undetectable, and Craig put it out of his mind as he started to wonder why Run was so... quiet today.

"Ah, wait," Rincha called after him, completely ignoring Dida and easily falling into step beside Craig. "I might need your help, actually." Even if his mind were impenetrable, she would need a somewhat normal person with normal moods to watch this potential trouble. This fairly stupid trouble, actually.
Dida looked hurt for an instant after Rincha had ditched her for the leaving ugly handsome boy. Then something hit her. Of course. The two didn't just know each other--they were probably dating. And in a fight, it looked like. Yes, that would explain how they seemed to know each other so well. So Rincha and Craig wanted some alone time, without Dida...okay then. Turning, Dida walked into the store which Rincha had come out of, interested to see what the bizarre perfect girl liked in such a store.
Rincha laughed for a moment, then returned to a somewhat-serious expression as she looked at Craig again, her eyes pleading "Will you help me?"

"Why would I do that? I've lost count of how many times you tried to kill me in that past couple of days." Craig said. The offer, in all honesty, intregued him. What could Run possible need so much help with that she had to stoop to asking him for help? But he couldn't betray his interest. He must appear indifferent.

Rincha spoke as though Craig had agreed to help her, "The Headmistress strongly believes that you, as a student at the academy, should be able to trust all of your classmates, but not without reason, of course. Some students get asked by the Headmistress to weed out the untrustworthy ones. Dida is a bit suspicious at this moment in time, and it might be easier if you'd help me watch her for a little while." She shrugged nonchallantly now, as though the response from Craig no longer mattered to her anymore "If not, I can always find someone else and bend their will to do it for me."

ooc- If I say yes, can Craig play around with Dida's emotions? Pleasepleasepleaseplease? With a cherry on top?
Craig stopped up short. He turned so he could look at Run better. "Since when did you trust me enough to watch someone else for you?" he demanded. But inside he was smiling. A project he could work on sounded like just the thing to distract him from the misery of subjecting himself to this place. That could work out very well.

OOC: Of course, love.
Rincha smiled at Craig. "I never said I didn't trust you." In truth, she kind of trusted everyone a bit too much, but that was the way it had to be if she wanted to end things amusingly. And hopefully with violence. Craig was a bit if-y, since she can't read his mind, but she didn't mind that. It made everything much more interesting.

ooc- YAY!!! Oh, wait, does that mean that Craig has been demoted from an annoyance to a point of intrest? Dang, I must not be trying hard enough. Oh well.
"Huh." Craig said, mulling it over. A project sounded like just the thing he needed. He shrugged, "Ok, whatever." he agreed. He didn't wait for Run to reply, but turned on his heel and followed Dida into the store that she just entered. He found her looking at shoes. Typical girl. "Hey, you're name is Dida, right?" he asked, making his voice light and intersted. "I'm Craig. Sorry if I was kinda mean. It's just that..." here he paused, going for dramatic effect. He rushed into the next sentence, as if spilling something that he hadn't told anyone. "Rincha and I just broke up. I don't really do well when things like that happen, so I was in a bad mood today. She just started shouting at me for being rude to you, and I wanted to get away from her. Plus. I really am sorry." He didn't look at Dida's eyes, playing the shy boy. He wondered where the whole excuse came from. It had just materialized while he was speaking, and Craig went along with it becase he didn't have a better idea.

OOC: You called her Run. Not Rincha. She isn't going to like that.
Smiling victoriously, Rincha walked away down the sidewalk, stopping in a nearby restaurant and letting her good looks buy her some food without costing her anything.
For an instant, Dida's mind fogged up, the words coming out of Craig's mouth being filtered. Oh. So the two had been dating. She smiled in sorry sympathy, "I know how you feel." This boy was changing...actually becoming likable. It was understandable, how he was having an off day. Everyone has those.

ooc- Dang it! It happened again! From this point in, unless otherwise stated, if I say Run I mean Rincha. If I actually d mean Run I will say something like, "using her real name for once,". Is that ok?
"Yeah," Craig said, chancing a small smile. "The problem was, it was so sudden. I didn't even see it coming. One day she just up and said she'd had enough. I asked her what I did wrong, but you know how well that goes." he said, rolling his eyes, but leaving a little hurt in his voice so it would sound like he was covering up his pain with bravado. He could barely hide a smile. Already, he could see that she was looking at him in a new light.

OOC: Okay. That'll work. I LOVE YOU~~!
Dida laughed, remembering many break-up scenes. Questions were never answered there, only accusations made. They were rarely pretty. Considering everything, Craig's had gone quite well. "It could have been worse," Dida pointed out, some sympathy growing in her eyes from her own memories mixing with his presented.

"Really?" Craig asked, turning to search Dida's eyes. He cocked his head after a moment. "Have you had alot of experience with this?" he asked, sounding generally curious, as if he was honestly interested in her life story.

Dida laughed once more, but this one had more joy in it. "Yes, of course everyone has their share of break-ups. Some more than others." She didn't specify anything, wanting more than anything for him not to see who it is that causes all of the break ups.

"This is my first," Craig said, turning his head back to the floor and allowing pain to creep into his voice again. His voice also hinted at extreme inexperience. If this was his first break up, he wouldn't now how to deal with all of the pain, loss and massive amounts of free time that came with it.

Sympathy was in Dida's eyes. "You poor boy. She shouldn't have been so harsh with you." This Rincha person was becoming more and more fascinating with every moment.

"Yeah, well..." Craig said in a tone that suggested that what was done was done, and there was nothing he could do about it. He started to look for something to distract Dida with, he had ablsolutly no experience with this sort of thing, and was beggining to wonder if Dida really bought his ploy. Luckily, someone wandered into the store, and a blast of frigid air billowed in the store. Craig shivered, and insiration struck. "Hey, do you want to go get some hot cocoa?" asked brightly, with the air of someone very obviously trying to change topics.

Dida understood this change of topic--he didn't want to talk about that which is painful to him. She smiled warmly at him, "Of course. And I do know this nice little place around the corner that we can go to..."
