Aiden ran up to the top of a tall tree and sat there for a moment, looking quite content. He then closed his eyes and grew out some spiral grooved, 2.5-foot-long horns, which then fell off into his hands. He then spat on the flat ends and stuck them together, making them fuse into a longbow. he then grew long fibers from his horn spots, spitting on his fingertips and twisting the thin fibers together when they fell off, forming a bowstring, which he strung along the bow and laid the bow on the branch beside him. He then fletched an arrow using extra feathers which he encouraged a nearby bird to grow. All this having taken about 30 minutes, he gathered some herbs, hunted and skinned a deer, dug a pit and filled it with water, heated some stones to boil the water, ground up the herbs, and tanned the deer hide with the herbs in the boiling water hole. After that was done, he cut a quiver with a bow loop and sewed it together with a needle whittled from the tip of the deer's antler and cord made from thin strips of the leather. When he had a quiver, he fletched more arrows to fill it, and then napped, with the deer cooking over the fire he heated the stones with.

A while later, Aiden woke up, reheated the stones, added a new set of herbs to the water, and made himself a hard leather vest with the remaining deer hide, with several soft leather pockets lining the inside. He then ate a bit of the deer, and set up the fire under a structure of sticks and leaves to smoke the rest of the meat.

Hista Dem walked through the forest, seemingly without a destination. She stuck to the darker parts of the forest, her pale skin striking against her dark clothing and dark surroundings. Silently she listened to the soft crunch of grass beneath her and the soft sounds of small critters moving through the underbrush.

Aiden cut the deer's intestines into strips, which he then tanned in the hole. He then wove a bag from the leathery strips that that produced, which he put then smoked venison in before putting out the fire and filling in the hole to go climbing.
After a few minutes of silent climbing, Aiden saw Hista and, noticing the chill that seemed to surround her, he leaped silently to the ground, wary.
OOC- brief description: wearing a hard, protective leather vest, black cotton pants, and no shoes; slightly pointed ears; and a spiraled horn longbow strapped to his back.

Hista froze the moment Aiden hit the ground, although she didn't seem to notice him, her eyes frozen on a spot ahead of her, as though something was there. And after a moment, something was there, something inhuman and frightful-looking. In front of her now stood a boy that looked like his body had been torn apart by the teeth of wolves, yet stayed together, the different gruesome-looking pieces occasionally drifting away from each other and then back, the boy like a translucent floating jigsaw puzzle.

Aiden stepped off of the path into the woods and came back on to the path whittling a lump of wood about as wide around as a dollar coin and about 2 centimeters thick, whistling the tune to (F)lannigan's Ball. OOC- In the trees, he got an oak tree to grow that lump of wood, which is still alive. The song, set to a video of the original album cover: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq0xGU4iSR0

Smiling, Dida shut her eyes and more children who looked like they had died in the same way appeared around her, some of them acting like wolves, others like children with empty lives. As they filled the area around her, Dida opened her eyes, her smile gone as the dead children dispersed, now wandering through the forest aimlessly, some of them temporarily becoming substantial for long enough to rip a random animal they found to shreds like they had been torn to shreds. It wouldn't be long before this forest had tired of its uses and Hista had an army at her fingertips.

"Pardon me, ma'am," said Aiden, still whittling the token, "but why are yer ghosties killin' all those animals? They're really disruptin' the ecosystem."

"And why shouldn't I kill?" Hista asked, turning to Aiden and eying him with her piercing blue eyes, a slight frown upon her face as though she were contemplating killing not only the animals but him as well

"This killin' is completely unnecessary to anything alive," said Aiden, finishing the oak leaf-shaped token. "Anything that kills purely for the sake of killin' will not last long." He then threaded the token on a leather chord and put it on as a necklace with a ram-horned man's face showing.

Suddenly all of the ghosts halted, and began to congregate around Hista, looking curiously at Aiden as she asked, "Purpose? Is that what they need, then?" She didn't seem to like Aiden much, a slight look of distaste upon her face behind the smiling look in her piercing eyes.

"Aye," said Aiden, "purpose is exactly what they need."

"I'll give them a purpose," Hista said menacingly, like the purpose wasn't what Aiden wanted it to be, but something dark involving even more death of something different for a purpose that was entirely selfish and would benefit no one else. Shutting her eyes, Hista's lips began to move in a strange tongue yet no sound came out. Slowly the ghosts around her drifted into her and disappeared, one by one until they were all gone. Opening her eyes, Hista said dismissively, "I'm done here," before walking away from Aiden, back towards the school

"Ooh, I'm so scared..." said Aiden right before her silent speaking. "What're ya gonna do, take over the world? Good luck wi'tha'. I've seen children worse than those buggers." He stood, watching with mild amusement/annoyance, as Hista recalled the ghosts. "So long," he replied when she spoke again. When she was gone, he flipped over his medallion, revealing a gentle woman's face, and went around to tend to the animals, mending most of them with blessings from Gaea in Gaelic. From the one that was too far gone, he took the skin and tanned it. While it tanned, he said "Gaea, Mother-of-the-Earth, may this creature's soul rest eternally among your Golden Meadows. Father, Lord of the Hunt, grant their family protection from such senseless destruction, that they may have peace of mind. Slán." When it was done tanning, he began fashioning it into a pair of boots, the soles of which consisted of many thin layers packed together. Each layer had a separate rune on it, the same for each boot. As he did so, he told Puck, in Gaelic to make sure that Hista is watched at all times. When he was done, he put the boots on and walked back to school
OOC- slán is Gaelic for "farewell"
